T&T: Obsolete C-Map Chips

Believe it or not, he's having difficulty sourcing the
older style CMAP chips. They're available, but not
easily.

Yup, I've run into this too (I have a 3 yr old
Raymarine RC530 Chartplotter).
To clarify: the problem is in obtaining the C-Map
"NT+" and "Wide" chart chips - Black colored. They are
being superceded by the C-Map "MAX" chips (Orange
colored) which are not backwards-compatible.
WEST no longer seem to stock either the blank chips
and/or the Master CD used to burn them.

I've had good luck ordering from Landfall Navigation -
who drop-ship them directly from C-Map....
Try EBay also for (possibly) older releases.
