T&T: How Much?

I would put Soltron in the tanks before polishing. The inspection holes are a
good idea--but remember that the tanks are most likely baffled. Look for any
evidence of tack welding where the baffels are attatched.
Most plastics stain with diesel--and so the sight guages become more difficult
to read. Glass is breakable--so you want to stay away from that. Low drain
is an excellent idea--and most likely you can combine that with the sight
glasses. However, a dip stick is much cheaper, and easier. We just had a
small hatch in the cabin sole--unscrewed the plug, and passin the dowel rod,
which had levels notched on it as we filled the empty tank. There are other
good ways of taking measure of tank levels and fuel consumption.
