T&T: scuba vips

You mean Put Another Dollar In? There are some talents involved in solo
diving that really can't be adressed by a course and giving people cards is
just a way to make money. Most instruction is at best poor at worse
crimenal. If you wish to solo dive the first thing you need to do is turn on
your main dive computer (that would be the one between your ears). Do a
little assement on what could go wrong and adress each and every concern
before you hit the water. Yes, you do want redunantcy, I always dive
doubles, two regs, isolator, etc. A pony as long as you don't consider it as
part of your available air is also ok. Don't be stupid, don't do dumb
things. Never dive with in three buddy groups. I will not do any wreck
pentration alone. I always dive my plan and plan my dive. I always dive with
the rule of thirds. I always dive with reduntant important gear. I always
turn the dive if anything fails, I always use a reel. I never dive deeper or
longer than i'm happy with. I always keep a ton of O2 on the boat. And I
don't let anyone dive and dive any depth, any conditions I think they're not
ready for cards or not. Bill
