T&T: Ball valves for polishing system - teflon tape

Henry,
Teflon is totally impervious to all fuels and is used in aviation fuel
screens. I cannot tell you what ball valves to use but diesel has no effect
on Teflon.
Teflon tape has binders in it holding the Teflon into the tape. I cannot
vouch for the binders. The main reason I thought that folks don't use Teflon
tape on fuel fittings is that some of the tape may break off and get into
the system clogging something. It certainly will not dissolve.

I have read on this list that teflon degrades when in contact with diesel
fuel. The only ball valves I can find all have the ball riding on teflon.
Can anyone tell me where to get the proper ball valves for a diesel fuel
system?
