Here are some 'helm' chairs I've been lusting after for a while.

Built with 'memory foam' for long term comfort - to say nothing of the foot

One would still have to engineer or find a off the shelf Pedi stool for
these. Have a dock mate who put two of these in his 65 footer in the theater
part of his saloon - he has a 60" projection TV system with Bose surround
sound. Great chairs, and I think could pull double duty as a helm chair and
a comfortable saloon chair.
