T&T: Yanmar Engine Failure

I know the details are fuzzy but FWIW, the 50hp version of Yanmar's 4 cylinder is normally aspirated.

I don't see how the turbine blades could have disintegrated as a 
consequence of the damage from the first scenario. In other words, 
unless one can explain how that sequence could have happened, you are 
left with scenario #2, in which the turbine blades disintegrated first.

This assumption of mine is certainly not a foolproof argument, but I 
think you can see how it would be likely.
