The engine, complete, costs US$13,500. We are picking one up tomorrow from 
American Diesel. As such, we also pay 5% VA sales tax. Have it shipped, for 
about $900 and you avoid the tax. 

Installation costs will vary: How good is your mechanic (or you), how good 
is your access?
