T&T: West Marine marketing

I didn't mean to say anything bad about West Marine. I hope your stock does  
well.
 
My point was that West Marine, like any good marketer, adjusts it's  
merchandising mix to fit the needs of the local market. The managers of the  Knoxville 
and Birmingham stores told me that their market is not big boats, but  tubers 
and skiers. They are more than happy to order things that I was used  to 
finding in the coastal Florida stores. For example, diesel treatment, large  
electric or air horns and the like.
 
I wish I had a West Marine closer to Columbus Marina. The nearest ones are  
Birmingham and Jackson.
