T&T: On-board Printer issues

Hi Patrick,
The cheapest and smallest footprint that might work is the Samsung
SCX-4200. It does print, scan and copy but your computer would have
to do the faxing. Size is 16.1" W x 14.3" D x 9.1" H, price around
$150. I have had mixed feelings about the Samsung laser printers
I've owned in the past. From the reviews, it sounds like this one is
OK.
AFAIK, the smallest all-in-one to include faxing is the Brother
MFC-7220. It's 14.7" W x 14.7" D x 10.3" H. Only does black and
white, but covers all bases of scanning, printing and faxing. I
haven't owned one, but several of my brothers swear by their Brother
laser printers, so it's probably a good unit, and only about $200.
For another $100, the MFC-7225N is the same size but can be shared on
a network and handles Postscript.
HP makes a number of nice all-in-ones, but I think they are all
larger. The LaserJet 3050 is 16.9" x 17.3" x 18.1" but does color
scanning at much higher resolution than the others. Cost is about
$250. I don't have one of these either, but I have had good luck
with other HP laser printers.
Hope this is helpful!
Cheers,
Charles
