Subject: T&T: TAB - Toxic Algae Bloom FLORIDA WEST COAT

When transiting between Carrabell, FL and Clearwater on the 15th I ran ibto
what the Coast Guard later said was "probably" red tide or other algae
bloom. The location was on a direct line to Clearwater about 18 miles out.
The area started 7 miles before that, was almost solid, and stretched SW and
NE as far as I could see. It looked for all the world like a sewage dump
from a large vessel or barge. There was a barge about 3 miles North.

The coast guard was right. It was Red Tide. Believe it or not this years
outbreak is not nearly as bad as last year which was the worst ever
recorded. It's all those damn cruisers dumping their heads!

Actually, I found the recent thread on pumping overboard pretty funny.
Passing laws against pumping overboard when every municipality in the
country is bypassing millions of gallons of untreated sewage every time it
rains hard is like passing a law against using a charcoal grill when you
live next door to a coal fired powerplant.

If we're really worried about helping the environment we need to consume
less. The creation of EVERYTHING we buy pollutes the environment. The
plant that makes plastic composting toilets pollutes the environment. If
you really want to help the environment instead of buying a new composting
toilet, or a new anything, fix your old one or find a used one.

Also, can someone tell me how to hook up my new inverter?
