T&T: diesel fuel

Other than that, there has been no factual information, only speculation, on 
whether some diesel is worth more than others. Does anybody know the 
relative difference in cetane ratings for #2 heating oil vs at the pump 
diesel fuel?
Am I to understand that none of the diesel fuel sources on the water 
advertise their cetane rating? Don't you ever wonder if you are getting your 
money's worth? I'm sure many of the commercial fuel suppliers are legit but 
is EVERY diesel fuel supplier selling the best quality fuel? Sounds like 
there is no way to tell.

Quoting Passagemaker Magazine "Given the choice, higher cetane is 
better...You will often pay more for higher cetane fuel; however, your 
improved fuel economy will often offset the increased expense"
I guess that makes the writer, Steve D'Antonio, an idiot.
