T&T: fuel tank question

Do you have marks on the tanks or tubes to show you how much fuel you have
at various levels? If not, I can let you know what mine are, or find the
calibration in some of the old Krogen newsletters probably. Those tanks hold
350 gallons each, so there's a lot of fuel in there if they're above the
sight glass. I never even worry about mine until they drop where I can get
an actual reading. The highest mark on mine is 250 gallons, but based on
that spacing, I'd guess that at the top of the sight tube the tanks have 300
gallons.
I add two things to my fuel... 1 Qt. Marvel Mystery Oil per 100 gallons of
diesel to restore lubricity lost with the lower sulfur diesel, and Soltron's
fuel treatment. The latter can now be found at West Marine et al. Their
usage instructions say to shock the system the first time, then use it as a
regular maintenance item. I shocked mine, had the fuel polished, then used
it in their maintenance dose. My fuel has been clean ever since. I did
install an onboard polishing system per Cap'n Will's plans, so this helps
keep it clean as well. I don't really try to keep them full, but depending
on how much cruising I'm doing, I'll either refill when they get about half
empty, or run them down to maybe 100 gallons each then fill up.
