T&T: A word from your host

My thanks to all who emailed me their thoughts on this matter. It's 
gratifying and encouraging to see your comments run 6-to-1 in favor 
of maintaining a clean, orderly List, free of non-boating items.

That kind of response has been fairly consistent over the years. The 
vast majority of subscribers want to see nothing but information on 
cruising and living aboard under power on T&T. They don't want the 
clutter of a chat room, and, yes, they don't want unnecessary quoting.

It's also gratifying to see a steady growth in subscriber numbers, 
1,804 this morning. The kind of flap we sometimes see, when a single 
subscriber leaves with a lot of noise, that is truly just a blip in 
the larger scheme of things.

Like so many of you, I'm addicted to the List and can't start my day 
without pouring over the digest.
