Great minds think alike! That project is not on my immediate list but my
thought was to also make "outboard strips" at the hull sides to facilitate
checking the deck fitings for leaks and rebedding. I have not thought out the
procedure but believe would require strapping epoxied to the hull sides.
I don't know what AZEK but assume it is a hard material. Will it sweat and
form condensation ??
I don't think there would be any problems with the deck twisting unless you
put a lot of weight on it.
