And just 20 miles south of Anapolis on the West River lies Galesville, MD, 
with its own Wednesday night races with maybe 40 to 60 boats. Many times we 
have planned our schedule to be there at anchor on Wednesday just to be in 
the midst of it. And yes they do buzz around with near misses of us and 
their own waiting for the starting gun.

On one breezy Wednesday night with the salon doors open, Rita damn near 
caused a mutiny as the smell of her lasagne captured the attention of a 
nearpass.

BTW, great 8' to 10' anchorage, accessible small town with marine supplies, 
limited groceries, fresh homemade pies, liquor store & WiFi coffeehouse 
combo, PO, restaurants, ...
