T&T: Alligator River grounding - revisited (literally)...

In that same stretch there is a steel H pile with a sign down at
waterlevel facing south. WIth waves or poor visibility it will sink
your boat for sure. It is about 50 yards north of the charted channel
midway down the dotted lines on the chart marking the channel at the
northern entrance to the Alligator River. It had no fouling so it
was recent.
