I have been using the small portable icemaker for the last 6 months and no
problems.

i've never understood why these icemakers are so expensive and it's not like
the Ulines are that reliable anyway (at least in my experience).
I'm considering an Avanti at $379 vs... what.. $800 for a Uline?

They also have $209 portable, 110v, stainless steel. not only cheaper but
using a reservoir so you can use bottled water in case you dont' trust your
water tanks. makes 35lbs a day which is pretty good.
