T&T: Icemaker recommendation

I'm considering buying a 110 volt icemaker and building it into a new
cabinet to go between two easy chairs in the saloon.  It will run on my
2500 watt inverter.  My plan is to use only occasionally before a big party
or when I have a cooler full of beer and soda.  Run it for a few days,
dumping the ice into the cooler then turn it off.  I'm looking at the
U-Line SP18 and Raritan Icer-Ette model 84.  Anyone have any good or bad
experience with these units or have other advice I should consider before
making the plunge?
