T&T: Is the sub-zero worth the money - How about Isotherm?

I have read a bit about the Isotherm refers that use the ASU technology.
Supposedly make a big difference on the Amps. Department. Also, their
kits allow you to rebuild an old refrigerator with new compressor and
cold plate with out having to ditch your old cabinet.

Before you buy this Sub-Zero refrigerator you should look at the repair
history of refrigerators which is published annually by Consumer
Reports.  These ratings are based on a very large sampling which show
the same experience I had with this brand. It was not good.

By the way I installed a small off the shelf inexpensive 110 volt
refrigerator with a muffin fan and run it off the inverter when
cruising.  It only runs about 20 to 25% of the time keeping amp usage
fairly low.
