Bristol and Honey Teak are quite similar. We have used Honey Teak on our
DeFever 41 which is probably the most teak intensive trawler around. We are
very pleased with the ease of maintaining the Honey. We cruise from NY to Fl
and back each year living mostly at anchor. The honey teak lasts at least a
year in the sun and two in the shade and then it requires a scuffing with a
scotch brite pad and two coats of the clear and your good for another year.
Great stuff. Also they answer the phone 7 days a week and tom who invented the
stuff answers your questions plainly and in great detail. Practical Sailor
varnish test found Honey Teak to be the best. No affiliation just a
satisfied customer.
