T&T: CQR anchor

Yes, the genuine CQR anchor is worth over 2x over other copies.  The CQR is
forged of a high quality steel and the galvanizing (at least in the past) was
quite good.

However, for less price, I would recomment a comperable size Delta Quick set.
I have anchored well over 1000 nights with a CQR, but I currently prefer the
Delta.  It sets quicker and in my opinion has better holding power.  The CQR
is a good anchor--but there are some more modern designs you might consider.
A lot would depend on where you are going to anchor.

Look at the Creative Marine Super Max for an excellent general anchor.  There
are some of the other plow type such as the spade which have better numbers
for close to the same price.
