T&T: Acid and Aluminum

Hydrofluoric acid was used to brighten raw aluminum and etch it for 
painting. Outside of taking it to be hard anodized again, I have no clue. 
Cleaners like Mary Kate On Off contains muriatic acid (I think) so I would 
check the labels of powerful cleaners to see if they are compatible with 
aluminum.

Colenite Metal Wax/Cleaner is the top-ranked metal cleaner according to 
Practical Sailor.
