Most likely the 1.8 KW inverter will be enough--I am a bit concerned about the
concept of "average draw"--you want to know maximum draw--that will be at
startup of any motors.  Also be sure to check for resistive loads on the
inverter circuit.

My major question is why you are using 4 golf cart batteries as engine
starting batteries and house batteries?  Golf carts can certainly be used for
engine starting--but the best use is to have separate engine start which are
type specific for starting (most likely a group 31 battery for each
engine)---then combine the 8 Golf Carts for the house bank.

Also how are you going to charge the house bank?  I would suggest using a high
output charger on the inverter--such as 100 amp to 130 amp charger.  Also put
a large frame alternator one one of the engines, to charge the house bank at
120 to 150 amps.
