I installed a carrier cabin top air when we first bought our boat and the
marine air went out.One reason I made that decision was most of the large
charter fishing boats were using them.I built a table to cover it outside
and its been working well for 2 years.
The unit cools the whole boat pretty well until it gets nasty outside (then
the aft cabin is bearable mid day but not real cool) It is a little on the
loud side but these are available new on e-bay for around $500 and are
simple to install so I like it.
I am in the middle of installing a Marine Air that will cool the forward and
aft cabins. I hope this one last a while ,if it doesnt I dont think I will
ever buy another one.
