T&T: True Sine Wave Inverters

A few years ago, a local electronics parts store (RP Electronics) had
some dead Xantrex 125W inverters (complete in box, with docs) -
presumably warrantee returns - as well as assorted bare boards. I
bought one of the packaged units, did a bit of troubleshooting, then
went back to the shop with a meter, and looked through the bare boards
for one with the part I needed to fix the complete unit. A couple of
others at work did the same - it was apparent that Xantrex made no
attempt to fix the returned units (on these units, at least - perhaps
they did fix the larger units...).
