T&T: Air compressor advice

I have a Thomas and it is very quiet. They are of superior quality. On the
boat, it would probably be wise to install a moisture filter in the line to
protect tools from water condensing in the tanks. This is a shore issue as
well, but it's worse onboard.

| Check out the Thomas brand of oil-less compressers, eg the T-635HD,
T-617HDN
| or T-35HD would be good choices, depending on how much power you have
| available and how much air (CFM) you need. (Amazon has good prices).
|
| These are built much better then the lower cost Home Box ones. One dive
| firm on the web uses them as part of their Hooka setup they sell. Most
all
| are rated for continious operation, and for many you can purchase rebuild
| kits for (look for Thomas air on Ebay).
