T&T: Air compressor advice

A few things to be aware of with air compressors, since this is my main
business (industrial compresssors) i've seen many mistakes. Be aware of duty
cycle, most oil free compressors are light duty and will heat up and burn
out the teflon internals if run to hot. Be aware of the load (cfm) you
expect out of them. The compressor manufactors overestamate what they'll
produce. The toll people underestimate what their tools need. They require
good air circulation for cooling. If you bury one in the bilge remeber
whatever air goes in (stinky bilge air) it will come out worse as the oils
in the bilge will not compress and their ppm will actually increase. If your
going to put it in the bilge and breath off it run the inlet air to a
cleaner area. Most second stage scuba regs (my other bussiness) require more
than 90 psi perform properly. Also most air tools like a little more
pressure. Bill
