The Stuart area is a good staging place for a Bahamas crossing. Lots of
places to provision, and good anchorages like the Manatee Pocket or
Peck's Lake.

If the St. Lucie inlet is shoal, you can always go out Jupiter.

Micha is leaving the yard in Green Cove Springs, and is heading south
slowly to test all systems. If all goes as planned, we should be in the
Stuart area before the end of the year, and plan to cross to Abaco from
there. We also would enjoy the company of any other TL listee, but
don't plan to head south in the Bahamas directly from the US.

In case weather delays cause a change in your plans, or in case there
are any other trawler crawlers waiting to head to Abaco around the same
time, from the same area, we look forward to meeting you.
