T&T: Air Comperssor Advice Sought from Listees

Good Day.
   
  I'm beginning to consider the next project for a 50' steel diesel duck; an
  oiless air compressor that will serve the following functions;
   
    Run a needle gun for paint removal
    Provide breathing air for keel/prop inspections and mainterance
    Provide air for a planned air driven fog horn
    A general air supply for painting and misc air powered tools
   
  my preference would be for a 12V DC unit but 115V AC might also 
  work.
   
  Any advice from listees on sources and important considerations in
  making a purchase decision would be appreciated.
