Been pondering an interesting phenomenon recently. I've had to make several
overnight stays in the yard during the construction of my aluminum Bimini
frame and they don't have power in the travel lift pit so I've run my genset
overnitht a few times. According to how much time we've run the genset, I find
the electric clock in the master stateroom and the microwave gain 15-25
minutes. What ho? Finally concluded we must be getting, say, 61 Hz from the
Kohler. It would add up.
Just now I plugged in my trusty Kill-a-Watt and the power company read 59.9.
Switched to my Victron pure sine wave inverter and read 59.8. Checked Mr.
Kohler and read 59.7. Any ideas?
