Hydraulic is the best, if you already have a hydraulic system on board. If
you don't, it can be really expensive to install the entire hydraulic
system. Wesmar has a continuous duty system that is great if you need to use
electric. You can run it as long as you need without it overheating and
cutting out. Get the mfg. to spec out one for your boat, then get at least
one size bigger. You'll never be sorry you have one too big, but you easily
can be sorry you got one too small!
