T&T: 12vdc Refrigerator

Greetings,
We installed a Waeco side by side. I bought it cause the condenser and
fan are on the end of a five ft "pigtail". It allowed me to mount them LOW
in the guest stateroom where there is more ventilation. VERY HAPPY!!!! Low
power consumption on DC. With a clamp amp meter, each compressor / fan draws
less then .5 amp. I know..I know...that's hard to believe. If you run a
110vac refer of your inverter, multiply the AC current times 10. That is an
approximation of what it will do to the batteries plus inverter overhead.
