Robert,
You inquired about "... small high pressure washdown pumps for an anchor
chain washdown?".

My PO had installed a Sears Shallow Well Jet Pump (A/C)
http://tinyurl.com/yboabv .

When it died I searched for a replacement but since the plumbing was already
in and I couldn't find an DC pump with enough 'oomp' for anywhere near the
$$ I just replaced it. I did continue to use the expansion tank he had
installed. It has been going strong for 4 years. 8 gpm. Would not want to
break out the pressure washer every morning.

I do have to run the generator when I up-anchor but that's no big thing.

However...
I was passing through (actually searching for something - I can't remember
what) Harbor Freight and noticed one of their pumps with an expansion tank
included. 13 gpm $100.

Probably stands about 2 ft. tall If I had to do it over again I would give
this a long look.
