T&T: Combo GPS for road and boat

I have just purhased a Lowrance iWay 250.  It is one of the few Lowrance 
system to accept their Nautipath Charts.
As it is winter here I have no tried it on the water.  Price is about 
$270 + a $50 rebate through Dec.  Nothing fancy,
no XM although is can show jpeg's (the admiral loves this with a our new 
grandchildren) and plays mpegs.
