T&T: Inverters and tool battery chargers

In looking at Scott's post about the sine wave that an inverter puts out it
made me think about looking at the output on an oscilloscope.  Does anyone
have any experience with products like this USB scope?

say battery chargers don't like modified sign wave inverters (used to
recharge the battery in the screwdriver).  I have a Xantrax 2000w Prosign
inverter on my Nordhavn and the advertising says it's a better sign wave
than most power grids develop.  Can anyone advise if they think I'll have
any issues with the battery charger being driven by the Prosign inverter?
