T&T: Inverters and tool battery chargers

The discussion of cordless screwdrivers got me thinking about my Christmas list.  I'm going to put one on it, but have one concern.  I've heard others say battery chargers don't like modified sign wave inverters (used to recharge the battery in the screwdriver).  I have a Xantrax 2000w Prosign inverter on my Nordhavn and the advertising says it's a better sign wave than most power grids develop.  Can anyone advise if they think I'll have any issues with the battery charger being driven by the Prosign inverter?  Thanks,
