T&T: E-Book Readers for Manuals, Books, etc.

Michael,
I have for some years been compiling an electronic archive of all my boat
manuals, either by downloading from the web sites of manufacturers or
scanning in and converting to PDF.

I keep them all on my laptop with a CD backup. I can then print out the
relevant pages for any task I undertake, or view it on the laptop screen.

I had not considered the idea of e-book readers so will be interested in the
development of this thread.
