T&T: Exhaust

I'm going with dry exhaust on my Krogen trawler, mostly because I have 
developed a serious dislike for rubber impellers. I may decide later that I 
dislike diesel soot even more. I plan to use hospital grade stainless 
silencers and heavy wall stainless pipe, all well insulated. It won't be 
cheaper or easier to install than a new wet exhaust but I hope it will be 
more reliable, along with the keel coolers. I've always thought that sea 
water sitting in the muffler or hose, evaporating steadily, into an engine, 
could not be good for it. Dry exhausts will eliminate that. BTW, I picked up 
and ran with the Pesky Leak thread, and got reprimanded, most graciously I 
might add. Our administrators are not hardasses, but they do have a job to, 
and they do it well.
