T&T: Pesky leaks

I'm wondering if the black powder and fuse tecnique could be used on go fast
boats (I didn't say bayliner, carver, cigarette, etc, just implied) to find
leaks. Could it be used while the boat is in motion, with some type of
remote delivery (i.e. throwing). Would the owner even need to be present,
like if you followed the suspected leaking boat to the dock and waited until
everyone left then tested for leaks whilst remaining anonamous, thus
avoiding the embarrasment of being showered with praise for your knowledge
and selfless desire to help fellow boaters. After delivering the
pressurization device you could stand a few hundred feet away, in the
shadows, with a black marker to put circles around the leaks. Everyone knows
that gofast boats leak like sieves so I would think the owners would be
gratefull to anyone that could find all the leaks. TIC.
