According to my NMEA-0183 FAQ, both the APB and RMB sentences should contain the destination waypoint ID.  You'd have to look at the NMEA output from "The Capn" with Hyperterminal or a similar program to see what, if anything they put in the "destination waypoint" field.  (I'm currently beta-testing a program that seems to put the origin waypoint ID in the destination ID field of an RMB sentence - further investigation required...)

Raymarine's SeaTalk system can apparently only display the last four characters of a waypoint name.
