Not that I use my "Y" Valve but this weekend I learned something I
had only heard about in other areas. I have a DNR officer on my dock
who asked if he could take a picture of my "Y" valve being secured so
he could share it with a legal class he's teaching to a new batch of
DNR officers. I said "Secured"... Uh I have a problem.. So it
turns out that I can be compliant by locking the head, securing the
valve with a wire tie, or removing the handle.. So I went down to
the hardware picked up some zip tie's and secured it into place to be
legal. I know many of you cruise through the Chesapeake and I
figured I would pass on the info..
