Are you referring to the PSS Dripless Prop Shaft products?

These products work well as long as you maintain a tight fit with the
stainless steel rotor. See the diagram for details.
Problem I had was that the lock nut that secured the rotor to the shaft
never had a good bite and it kept slipping up the shaft,
letting huge amounts of water flooding into the engine room.
This same problem happed to a boat at a marina I was staying at in City
Island, rotor slipped up the shaft and he almost sank.

Hi All,
Does anybody have any experience with any of the "dripless" devices on
the prop shaft?
I would be nice to have the reduced friction and drip free operation if
they work as advertised...
