T&T: Kentucky Lock Scheduled Closure

This is good news, at least for now, for those traveling on the rivers.

The maintenance closure of Kentucky Lock, originally scheduled for August 15
through September 7, 2006 has been postponed until further notice. As a result
the Barkley Lock will not experience the increase in tow traffic that would
have caused long delays.

Hopefully they won't reschedule during the busy Fall traveling time!
