URSA MAJOR, the famous classic North Sea Malahide Trawler (?65 foot 109 ton featured in Passagemaker, Power and Motoryacht?and many other magazines) ?is accepting two trainees or volunteers?for our trip from Seattle to San Diego leaving October 6.? Learn to do the West Coast passage:??piloting,? radar, AIS, ?weather, passagemaking, underway planning, etc.??? Experienced professional crew aboard for a maximum of six?in a working watch system on a delivery.??????? We will be accepting four trainees or volunteers?from San Diego to La Paz the last half of October.? Last year's trip was a wonderful downwind ride with headsail, sunshine, catching tuna and dorado by hand line, and spectacular sunsets?capped off by several days in the islands off La Paz.??
