Has links to my recent utility for Compass Adjusting. This is an Excel 
spreadsheet where you enter the 8 compass headings and it generates the 
5 Coefficients, A,B,C,D,E and a graphic representation of each curve.

The Bowditch chapter 6 on compass correction is included in the PDF. The 
entire PDF can be purchased for $2.50 and then downloaded. The Excel 
spreadsheet portion is embedded in the PDF.

You can experiment with the deviation data, generating various graphs to 
your hearts content.

You can have a free update for up to 2 months after you first purchase.

There are  also links to various pamphlets, some eBooks which are even
free; the latest is about diesel engines.

I am frequently adding new items so don't be bashful, check back to see
what's new.

This software utility is not as sophisticated as the C-Swing program 
from the Australian website but it is a lot less expensive and makes an 
excellent cheap educational tool.
