Greetings,
We are going to let go of our 1981 Kadey Krogen 42 "Continuum".
(KK42020). We have been cruising on her full time for about 2 years and very
unexpectedly found "paradise" early and purchased a home on the ocean on the
north coast of the Dominican Republic. For those who have followed along with
our journeys, you know that we have extensively renovated Continuum over the
last 4 years. Before we list her with a broker, we will try to sell her
ourselves through the various Internet forums for the next month or so.
Basically Continuum has a single Ford Lehman 120 engine with 3450 hours,
a new 20KW Northern lights generator (December 2007). She has a 2.5kw
inverter, bow-thruster, Gulf Coast fuel polisher system, new sanitation (heads
and lines), new DC refrigeration, new Furuno NAVNET 24 mile radar, SeaCas AIS,
Interphase forward scanning sonar, and ComNav 1420 autopilot, ICOM 710 SSB
with upgraded Pactor modem for email and weather fax, and way to much more to
mention here. All systems are in perfect working order and she is well
maintained with up to date maintenance records. She is "cruise ready". The
last "out of water survey" was performed in March, 2007.
Continuum is presently located in Luperon Harbor, Dominican Republic;
however I will offer to pilot the boat anywhere back to the US east or
southern coast. If you are really interested in buying a displacement trawler,
a great Krogen 42 pilothouse , with a proven track record. If you are REALLY
interested, send me an email and I will forward you all the "nitty gritty"
details on Continuum. If you just want to have a look, point your browser to
www.bote.talkspot.com and check her out for yourself. Our asking price will
start at $219k and believe me, we have way more into it than that!
Respectfully,
Ken and Edi Williams
