BST: Chris Craft West Indian 36 Trawler

*The Chris Craft West Indian 36 Trawler Sandpiper is for sale.*



She is one of only six examples built by Chris Craft in 1983 (the only year
that Chris Craft built them).  She is a Charles Morgan design.  Mr. Morgan
built approximately 70 of these trawlers (known as the Heritage West Indies
36 Trawler) in his Heritage Yard in the mid to late 70s before selling the
molds to Chris Craft.



Sandpiper cruises at 7.8 knots using only 2.5 gph.  She is a sedan style
with a Downeast look and gets admiring looks and comments wherever she
cruises.  She is the perfect waterway or loop cruiser and could comfortably
cruise the Caribbean for extended periods with her large 200 gal. water
supply and 440 gallon diesel fuel load.  She is also equipped with a 7.5 kw
Fidelity genset driven by a Yanmar 2QM20.



Numerous upgrades have been completed during the 9 years that I've owned
her, but the upgrades completed just last year include:

New digital climate controls for fore and aft environmental systems.

New Norcold refrigerator freezer.

New teak and holly flooring in Saloon and forward corridor.

New Todd ladder-back helm chair on flying bridge.



Sandpiper lies near Annapolis, MD on the Magothy River.
