BST: DeFever 49 RPH Plan B Stabilized for sale

It is with great reluctance that we are posting that our DefEVER 49
RPH, Plan B, stabilized is going on the market. We bought a 13m Dutch
steel motorkruiser last year in the Netherlands to cruise the canals
and rivers of Western Europe and went back again this summer for the
second year. While this was a planned 3 - 5 year 'adventure,' as
part of our "10-year plan," we have found that it may turn into a 5 -
10 year adventure and possibly consume the entire 10-year plan!
Coming back to the U.S. and having both our house and our DeFever
isn't sensible. So the choice comes down to the house or the
DeFever.....and the 49 is going up for sale. It is totally senseless
to have such a capable and well equipped boat sitting on dry land
each summer while we are in Europe and then sitting here at our dock
during the winter while we perform maintenance on our house. Hence, we
are putting "Mermaid Lil" up for sale.

Our 49 RPH is a 1987 Sen Kho built PLAN B and heavily equipped for
long term and long distance cruising. Virtually every system has
been refined, rebuilt or installed, and the boat is truly turn-key
for cruising. This summer, during its' storage time while we were in
Europe, we peeled the bottom and glassed and barrier coated as a
future preventive measure. "Mermaid Lil" will go back in the water
within the week after the near 6 month storage/drying out.
