BST: 1991 49' Grand Banks stabilized with 210 CATS in FL

There was an actual discussion here in the classifieds about selling boats
and the prices. Maybe the owner of this Grand Banks read the posts and
decided to lower his asking price.

 1991 49' Grand Banks trawler with 210 HP Caterpillar naturally aspirated
diesels, with a lowered asking price of $339,000. This price is way, way,
below any other 1991 or similar year boat for sale out there now, and this
boat has the much more economical naturally aspirated engines. As the price
of fuel has gone up, I believe that the desirability of this low HP boat
should increase over the 49's with twin 375's or 420's.

 

The boat will need varnish work and soft goods. The price reflects that the
cushions need to be recovered and drapes redone. However most of the boats I
sell; no matter what the condition of the soft goods, still get new curtains
bedspreads and more. Here is a chance to get one at a good price, and then
have your own touches.

The life raft is recent, the dinghy just a few years old, updated GPS.

 

This boat has stabilizers. I was captain of a 49' GB sistership about 18
years ago. Same engines, no stabilizers in that boat, this one will be much
more comfortable. The boat will handle rough water well without stabilizers,
but the occupants are much more comfortable when you do have them.
