We just finished the loop and are selling many items we no longer will use.
One item offered today is a navigation package for the loop which we found
extremely beneficial for navigating , a backup to our installed electronics
and as a planning platform. Included is the following:
1. Panasonic Toughbook Computer - CF-18NHHZBBM tablet PC which comes
preloaded with the following software:
a. Maptech Chart Navigator Pro (retail $499) includes electronic charts
covering coastal and inland waters and provides an easy and free update for
all maps. The original disks and packaging will ship with the computer.
b. NDI Digital Ocean electronic charts for Canada covering: NW02 Lake
Huron-North Channel; NW03 Georgian Bay; NW05 Lake Ontario; NW07 Kingston to
Montreal-Richelieu-Lake Champlain. These are all original programs and the
original disks and boxes will ship with the computer.
c. Windows XP Professional
d. Open Office (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.)
e. Many more software programs
2. Wireless Mouse
3. Garmin GPS USB-18. This device works very well with the Chart
Navigator Pro software.
The Toughbook has a built in WiFi which came in handy during the trip. This
computer also has the capability to rotate the screen and because it is a
tablet PC you can write on the screen using the installed scribe software.
All items with the exception of the wireless mouse, will be packaged in
their original boxes and contain user manuals and where available I'll
supply the log-on and passwords we used to gain access to site specific
software blogs or support for the equipment and software.
This complete package cost us $3,200. We are offering it for $1,800.
